ABOUT ME | Marie-Gabrielle Glock

My name is Marie-Gabrielle, I'm a 36 yo artist, born in Toulouse (South of France), based in Paris.

I am obsessed with colors, which I use to express intimacy, vitality and emotions. My work focus on the exploration of bodies and imaginative landscapes through sophisticated palettes, a means to explain one's feelings thanks to a general sensation provided by colorful design.

I have a fondness for oil painting, for its intense and material aspect as well as the infinite possibilities it provides for an artist.

As a Pisces, I also have a special relationship with water and the related mediums, such as watercolor, ink or pigments, and the eery or intense feeling they can provide.

I love to deepen relationships with people, and that's what I do in my work as well as in my art - which are closely linked. I feel people & things through the colors and energy they inspire me, and try my best to express this vitality through my creations.

As a self-taught, all-rounder creative, I love to explore new themes and try different techniques, and dedicate myself to many creative projects, from personal artworks to client's commissions or artistic collaborations.
